Whether you live in Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Seven Lakes or other surrounding areas, as in most of the area towns, Southern Pines, North Carolina has festive gatherings for the community . One of our favorite events is the downtown parade. This year it will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 10:00 am Line-up Parade: 11:00 am - Noon. The parade last year was held on a very warm day in the Sandhills. Let’s hope this year we are as lucky. The parade last year included Sandhills Gymnastics, Rotary Clubs, Girl and Boy Scouts and more!
